In Full Bloom | Floreciente

Embark on a contemplative sojourn into "CONSTANT: In Full Bloom," an evocative photo exhibition that beckons you to savor the delicate interplay of identity, our profound connection to humanity, and the ever-present dance with the natural world.

Within this curated collection, the convergence of Samantha Box's "Caribbean Dreams" and Tiffany Williams' "Flower Series" unveils a tapestry of nuanced reflections. "Caribbean Dreams" becomes a poetic exploration of the Jamaican identity, navigating the intricate mosaic of diaspora, the precious cost of cultural roots, and the evolving landscape of accessibility and change. Box weaves each image as a poignant testament to the scattered fragments of identity within the diasporic experience.

In her "Flower Series," Tiffany Williams orchestrates two masterful movements: "Reflections" and "We All Grow." "Reflections" invites contemplation on the artist's transformative journey, a vulnerable dance with time that challenges viewers to seek the profound within the subtle. Williams, inspired by the Mulan anthem "Reflection," beckons the observer not only to witness her reflection but also to discover their own selves in the process.

"We All Grow," a symphony of blossoms, draws eloquent parallels between humanity and flowers. Delving into shared needs for nourishment, the influence of sunlight on our collective moods, and the universal call for care and love, Williams invites us to recognize the timeless interconnectedness that binds us all. Both artists unravel the intricacies of plants and trees, illuminating the fruits of memories and aspirations that transcend geographical confines and temporal limitations.

"CONSTANT: In Full Bloom" marks the inaugural collaboration of these visionary artists, a union that amplifies the resonance of their collective artistry.

This event was co-curated and organized by AWWW Collective members Cher Scott, Mark Nevers and Danny R. Peralta.
